DJ Windy City is an International DJ and MC who’s been performing in various parts of the world since his emergence in 2012. His stage name is a direct representation of his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised on Chicago’s south side, Windy began his career in music by learning various instruments from the age of 10. After graduating high school he proudly served in the US Navy, where he picked up the craft of DJing. At first as an outlet to continue performing in a musical capacity, however it soon became a passion.
Spinning through various genres and spectrums of music, Windy City has performed for a wide range of crowds in different areas of the world, to include: Tokyo, Japan, Sydney, Australia, Manama, Bahrain and most recently Washington, DC. He’s been featured at such notable clubs as Club Vibrations (Tokyo), Buster’s Club, Club Wrangler, Cavallo Club and Club 360 (Bahrain) and currently serves as the resident DJ at The Park at 14th in Washington, DC. Although Windy City spins all ranges of music, he’s most notable for his distinct sound and blends in the Hip Hop and RnB genres. An absolute party rocker!
